"Ruthie, are you sure this is a good idea?" Dawn asked nervously.

Ruth Camden nodded with a stubbornly determined look on her face then reached for the door knob with one hand, the other hand crushing Dawn's fingers .

Dawn managed not to faint. These people were so normal it was terrifying. Ruthie's father was a minister. She shot her lover a look for not mentioning that. Four brothers, two sisters, sister-in-law, brother-in-law. Reverend and Mrs. Camden with petrified strained smiles on their faces with utter shock in their eyes.

She was in hell. Where was an Apocalypse when you needed one?
