"Is--this quite normal for Thanksgiving?" Hermione Granger shakily asked her cousin Wesley. She, Viktor, Ron, Luna, Harry, Snape, Ginny and Draco had accepted the invitation from her cousin to visit Los Angeles. Wesley knew she was a witch, and had assured her that his friends and co-workers wouldn't be bothered in the slightest by any slip-up's made by the mostly Pureblood Wizard group.
The remains of the meal were scattered all over the large room that had once been the Hyperion's ballroom in it's hayday. Demon blood and parts strewn about liberally as well.
It was Willow who answered Hermione. "Turkey, check." Impaled on the claws of a demon corpse. "Mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, candied yams, check, check, check and check" and splattered everywhere mixed with demon blood and bits. "Pumpkin pies, check, pecan pie, check" though those had been used as missiles by Dawn against several demons. "Demons, trying to kill us or end the world, check. Yep, normal Scooby Thanksgiving"
"Gotta say this is better than the year I got vengeance spirit induced syphilis. So… Chinese or Pizza?" Xander piped up.
"Mexican? I’m in the mood for tacos," Fred suggested.
The Wizards could only stare in disbelief.
