"Xander?" Draco looked up as his lover entered the house.

"Emily made it out of surgery just fine. She's Slayer tough. She'll be just fine, back in fighting form in a couple months it looks like. Got a little hairy there for a while though. Regina's got the watch at the moment."

"That's good," Draco sighed with relief. "When she's released from the hospital we'll see what we can do with magic."

"Everyone else?"

"Exhausted and a bit battered but they've all been sorted and shipped off to bed." Draco said moving into Xander's arms. "I floo'd Severus, he'll be here in the morning with the wolfsbane for Lupin and myself"

"You okay?"

"I'm fine." Draco nodded, then said dryly. "Dawn said to tell you Merry Christmas. She's rather put out that the apocalypse had to interfere with the first Christmas she was hosting and we'll not make it."

Xander smiled tiredly. Judging by Draco's tone "a rather put out" translated into Nuclear-Explosion!Dawnnie. She knew how Slaying life went., the demon population of England better be very very afraid the next patrol Dawn went on because she wasn't going to forgive for forget her first hosted Christmas being messed up by apocalypses..
