"Oi! Charlie, you made it!"

Charlie Weasley awkwardly made his way through the crowd of the Muggle pub. Le Blues Bar was actually kind of nice. Strange, especially since Charlie had never been in a Muggle pub before, but nice.

"Yeah, I've got the weekend off, took some wrangling to get the time though" Charlie grinned. "Congratulations, Luc."

"An' moi?"

"Gorgeous as ever, Jeannette, and good luck you're going to need it with him."

"Hey!" Luc Carstairs grumbled. Luc had been in Charlie's year at Hogwarts, a fellow Gryffindor and had the distinction of being half-French on his mother's side, and being half Muggle on his father's side. His mother a Muggleborn Beauxbatons alum. Jeanette had something of the same history. Her father's mother a squib, her father's father a muggle. Her father hadn't gotten accepted to any of the Wizarding schools even if he was slightly more than a squib. Her mother was of all things a quarter Veela and the rest Muggle. Luc worked as a liason between the British and French Ministries of Magic these days, Jeanette worked at the French Ministry as a liaison to certain muggle groups that knew about the Wizarding world though exactly what groups those were were rather sketchy.

The Blues Bar was closed down for the night for the couple's engagement party, and actually a mostly muggle group other than a few younger relatives of Jeanettes that crossed between both worlds. It was actually the second of three engagement parties. One would be held at the Leaky Cauldron which Charlie wouldn't be able to attend and another had been held the week before at Jeanette's uncle's estate.

"C'mon, you've got to meet Richie. First thing I asked him was if he was related to you. You have any American cousins?"

Charlie shook his head. "Not every redhead in the world is a Weasley." he laughed.

"Wouldn't know it." Luc teased. "Richie, this is Charlie Weasley. Told you that you could pass for one of his brothers." Jeannette waved Luc over to talk to someone else and he abruptly left the two redheads alone with "Keep an eye on him for me Rich, Charlie doesn't get out to places like this much."

Charlie chuckled and shook his head.

"You known Luc long?"

"We were in the same dormitory at school, so yeah, I've known him since I was eleven."

"Boarding school?"

Charlie nodded.

"Uh, I've just got to ask, Luc's always said the Weasleys had to have misplaced me..."

Charlie laughed. "Right, and there's so many no one noticed. He's decided all redheads must be related to my family."

"Big family?"

Charlie nodded. "There were nine in my father's family. Seven boys, two girls. There's seven of us...Bill, then me, then Percy, the twins Fred and George, Ron is the youngest of us boys and Ginny is the baby. Dad was the youngest of his family so when Luc and I were in school at one point there were sixteen Weasleys in our dorm. Mostly cousins. Every last one of us redheaded."

Charlie liked the redheaded muggle with his easy smile even if the smile didn't quite reach his eyes at times.

The two of them ended up talking through most of the evening, neither of them knowing many at the gathering other than Luc and Jeanette, whom Richie had met through his friend Adam.

"You, c'mon you've had way too much to drink, you can crash at my place. I've got an apartment not to far from here."

"You've had every bit as much as me."

"Doesn't affect me much..."

Charlie nodded slowly. No way was he up to attempting the series of apparations that it took to get back to the Preserve in Romania and he did have the whole weekend. The two made their way to say goodbye to the happy couple.

"Hey, Luc, Jeannie, we're going to take off. Charlie's going to crash at my place."

Luc burst out laughing. "Going to marry him into the Weasleys then eh, Charlie?"

Charlie blushed deep red.

Jeannette elbowed her fiancee. "Call tomorrow, we can have a late lunch." she smiled. "Thank you for putting Charlie up for the night, Richie."

"No problem."

Luc sniggered.

Jeannette gave first Richie then Charlie a quick hug and kiss on the cheek. "Don't mind him, he's had too much to drink tonight" she whispered in Charlie's ear, then said more loudly. "See you at lunch tomorrow."

Luc sniggered more. "You didn't share a dorm room with him and Leander Holmes, love, not sure either will be sitting all that well tomorrow."

"Luc!" Jeannette glared. "You might not be moving that easily tomorrow either with the sore back you're going to have from sleeping on the couch!"

"Might have to gag him, Richie, he's a bit of a screamer."

"LUC!"

"You are wasted." Richie shook his head. "C'mon, Charlie." Richie grabbed the mortified Brit by the arm and drug him out of the still packed bar.

"Sorry about Luc..." Charlie swallowed.

"It's cool," Richie grinned. "Here, my bikes right over there."

Charlie blinked.

"Don't like bikes?"

"Never been on one."

"Hey, you--look..." Richie took a deep breath and steeled himself, then leaned forward.

Charlie was stunned by the kiss.

"Luc didn't bug me, okay. My couch is pretty comfy, or so Adam says, he crashes on it every time he has a fight with Duncan. Couch is yours. But I sure won't object if you want to spend the night in my room."

"Not as innocent as you look, are you?" Charlie managed.

Richie gave him a wolfish grin. "Not in the least."

Charlie leaned in and kissed the other man, "I'm thinking your bed sounds quite nice."

"Let's go."

Charlie thought he just might like Muggle motorbikes, almost as much fun as a good racing broom. He definitely liked being pressed to Richie's back. His hand managed to slide under Richie's shirt getting a groan from the other man and a sharp increase in speed from the bike.

They all but ran to the apartment, keeping a bit of decorum not to shock Richie's neighbors. Once the apartment door was shut clothes were tugged at.

Charlie heard the odd clatter as Richie's jacket dropped to the floor. Which sparked a second of curiosity about the strange weight in Richie's long jacket he'd noticed and the heavy thing hidden within the coat that had banged into Charlie's knee once during the ride to Richie's apartment.

Curiosity quickly went as Richie's hands found the fastening of Charlie's jeans.

"You sure bout this?" Richie managed to take half a step back to ask.

Charlie nodded. "Been ages, just want..." he didn't quite know how, or even if he should put it into words. It had been ages since he'd so much as kissed anyone, he wanted this Muggle. Liked Richie. THe strange connection that had flared between the two of them that evening was undeniable. He wanted to explore that, explore the blue-eyed muggle, even if only for this one night.

"Yeah, same here..." Richie managed.

Another clatter as Charlie's shirt hit the floor and his wand landed on the hardwood floor of Richie's hallway.

"Uh..."

"Not now..."

"Kay" Richie grinned pu lling Charlie into the bedroom.

"Merlin" Charlie breathed once they were finally out of their clothes, which had caused a bit of amusement stumbling to get their shoes and pants off he pushed the other man gently onto the bed. Smoothe pale skin, with only a freckle or two. Perfect and unmarred.

"Gorgeous." Richie shot back eyes roaming hungrily over the stockier redhead. Freckles everywhere along with the slight undertone of gold to his skin that peeked out between freckles which was as tanned as redheads normally could get. Charlie spent a good amount of time outdoors and often shirtless it seemed. Scars, strange ones, here and there that looked something like a big animal's claws or burns, and there on his thigh like something with a lot of teeth had tried to take a bite out of him.

Richie's own hands were calloused from years of sword practice but nothing like the rough hands of Charlie Weasley that seemed to be everywhere on his sensitized skin. "Don't have--don't have anything." Richie managed to gasp out.

Charlie wasn't exactly sure what the other man meant by that, but he didn't have any lubrication potion either, and a spell was out of the question. "Next time then," Charlie managed as he rocked against Richie. "This is good."

"Good, yeah," Richie gasped out his hips matched Charlie's rhythm almost of their own accord. Words were soon beyond his ability to form with any sort of coherence as sensation took over. Rough calloused hands and questing mouth, strong solid body rocking against him.

Charlie groaned a while later when Richie insisted on getting a wash cloth to wipe them up. Spell would have been so much easier, but Muggles didn't use spells so he couldn't either. He had a feeling he could learn to like spending time in the Muggle world though. At least for as long as whatever this was lasted, even if it was only the weekend.
